FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Greene, NY and prefer to photograph here at my home studio and surrounding area. The travel fee for sessions at other locations starts at $100. Please contact me for a specific quote.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link to your photos within 2 weeks of your session. Then you can share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints, canvases, or digital images. Purchased digital images are downloaded directly from the gallery.
What if my kid doesn't cooperate?
Don’t get stressed if your child doesn’t cooperate immediately. We will spend a few minutes playing so he or she can get more comfortable. Bring a favorite toy or candy that can be used as an incentive if needed. For newborn sessions, siblings will be photographed first when they are fresh and most cooperative.
What should we wear?
Coordinate your outfits but don’t match. Pick 2-3 colors and dress everyone in a variety of those colors.
Accessorize with scarves, jewelry or jackets, but keep it simple. Remember that shoes matter! Please don’t wear sneakers unless they fit with the feel of the session. Avoid anything with logos, characters, graphics or labels, as these tend to be distracting and date the photo quickly.
Do you have maternity gowns?
Yes, I have a beautiful selection of maternity dresses available that will fit a wide range of sizes. Please contact me for help choosing the perfect dress for your maternity session.
Are families included in the newborn session?
Yes, I love to include parents and siblings in all newborn sessions, if desired.
Do you have props for my newborn session?
Yes! I have many headbands, wraps, hats, buckets, blankets, swaddles, and cute items for baby to "hold" in the photos. Feel free to bring a few sentimental items to include in your session. Please contact me if you are looking for something in particular.
Do you have any discounts?
Yes. $50 off if you purchase both the maternity luxury package and the newborn GOTTA HAVE IT package.
Also, I do have a referral program where you can earn money toward a future session. Please contact me for more information.
Do you photograph weddings?
At this time, I am not photographing weddings.
